She is also an attorney, published author, featured poet and the owner of a boutique art and clothing studio. After practicing law for six years, Bela left her home and legal career behind to travel to India and discover her roots. While in India, she fell in love with East Indian henna – the art of her ancestors. It is this practice that inspires her art now.

After attaining an A.B. in Film and Drama at Vassar College, David worked in New York and Los Angeles writing, acting, and directing plays and films.

In 2012, she offered mobile bartending services for private events, and in 2014 she expanded the business to include Milwaukee’s first mobile drink truck. In 2020, she opened a brick and mortar bar offering drinks to-go in the heart of Milwaukee.
